1936 Walter Durham Residence in Bryn Mawr

Originally designed by Philadelphia architect Walter Durham in 1936, this Bryn Mawr residence has undergone an extensive interior restoration and redesign. Drawing inspiration from the formality and style of the existing ornamentation and detailing designed by Durham, the renovated interiors will combine traditional millwork and period-appropriate details with modern features. Classical design elements, such as the intricately carved cornice and doorway entablature in the entry hall, will be preserved and restored to accurately reflect traditional Main Line style.
