Westchester County Renovation in New York
Our renovation design simplifies the flow of this historic 1934 New York farmhouse—transforming the disjointed floor plan into a cohesive interior that fosters togetherness. In our proposed design, the property’s original stable-turned-carriage house is revitalized as a multifunctional event space for both everyday life and special celebrations. A new meandering drive will introduce visitors to the carriage house first—setting the tone before arrival at the main residence—an idea inspired by the homeowners’ desire to experience the landscape more fully. The renovated carriage house will incorporate an office in the old feed room, a potting shed below, and a vaulted upper level for family access. With sweeping views and a reception-ready layout, the new design bridges past and present with intention.
