As Associate Principal, Meredith brings over a decade of experience in high-end residential architecture, a deep knowledge of classical design, and a passion for precise, traditional detailing. She plays a key role in maintaining Period Architecture’s high standards, particularly in new markets along the East Coast, where she leads commissions from New England to the Mid-Atlantic. Organized, collaborative, and highly detail-oriented, Meredith combines technical expertise with classical training to guide complex designs with clarity and care.
Originally from the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, Meredith moved to the Northeast to immerse herself in the region’s rich tradition of residential design. Her career has since included properties across the country—from Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, to California and the Midwest. Her broad experience, rooted in classicism, allows her to design homes in a variety of styles and contexts, always with a focus on beauty, function, and authenticity.
Meredith earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, with a concentration in Furniture Design and a year abroad in Rome. The program’s emphasis on traditional drafting, watercolor rendering, and architectural history shaped her design philosophy. She credits her earliest inspiration to the French Chateau-style school she attended in St. Louis, where she first experienced the emotional power of architecture.
In the office, Meredith is known for her leadership, strong communication, and attention to detail. One of her key strengths is her natural ability to mentor younger team members by developing and establishing practices that ensure continued growth. She finds the greatest reward in creating well-crafted homes that reflect both the personality of the homeowner and the character of the place.
When not designing, Meredith enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children, especially at the beach. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she is an avid needlepointer and Mahjong player who regularly takes art and design courses. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Junior League of Greenwich’s Positively Me Committee, a local program that supports confidence, effective coping strategies, and self-expression in third-grade girls.
